Other popular university towns are Daugavpils with its dazzling architectural heritage, and Liepāja, famed for its Blue Flag beaches on the Baltic coast.

Apart from famous white sandy beaches one can enjoy the nature beauty by visiting many places to enjoy the beautiful sceneries, there are lots of activities to do like hiking or skiing in the pine forests, wind-surfing, water-skiing and bobsledding.
As compare to other European study destinations the cost of living and study is very economical in Lativa. Being a largest city of Latvia, Riga has a blossoming nightlife where you will always find something to do. In year 2014 Riga was nominated as the European Capital of Culture.
